Kentucky Dentistry for Kids
Welcome to our website! Dr. Wendy Humphrey Van Meter (Dr. Wendy) and her incredible team of pediatric dental professionals believe that positive first experiences at the dentist can set the stage for a lifetime of healthy teeth. We work hard to ensure that our practice is kid-friendly, safe, and fun.
Dr. Wendy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Not only does Dr. Wendy have additional training in the unique needs of children, but she is also a mother and a doting aunt! Even more, the entire Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry team is surrounded by children in their professional and personal lives. We love children! And we are confident that your child will love visiting us!
Dr. Juliette Keller founded Kentucky Dentistry for Kids in 1994. Dr. Wendy joined Dr. Keller in 2008 before Dr. Keller’s retirement two years later. From its inception, the practice has worked to provide all children with quality and compassionate dental care. Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry is in Lexington, KY, on Lowry Lane, just off Nicholasville Road. We remain a private practice, independently owned and operated.
Kentucky Dentistry for Kids provides specialized pediatric dentistry services for infants, children, and teens in a friendly and safe environment. We focus on preventative care to help each patient we see achieve and maintain the healthy smile they deserve.
Pediatric dentists have had 2-3 years of additional, specialized training to care for young children and adolescents. From the first tooth to adolescence, we help your child develop a healthy smile and manage situations that are unique only to children.
Our office is designed to ease nervous children (and their parents!) with a kid-friendly atmosphere. We take extra time to understand the personality of each child and our team works hard to accommodate every personality – from super chatty to super shy.
Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry for Kids is also able to help with child-specific issues such as thumb sucking, pacifier use, and feeding concerns. We’re kid experts!
